Ringing the Bell

20141115_110722_resized (1)It is a tradition here at Cancer Treatment Centers of America for patients to “ring the bell” after their last treatment.  There are severaI gold colored bells located in several locations in the center.  I was able to witness my new friend Wendell ring the bell today.  He finished his last treatment of radiation.  His wife, care team, and fellow cancer patients were on hand to celebrate this victory with
him.  I was able to celebrate with a couple of other patients last week as well.   It is a time for smiles and yes, even tears of joy and gratitude.

I am looking forward to my turn to ring the bell after my last treatment very soon I hope.

  1. John Anthony, you are a wonderful support to your friends at CTCA. Your day will soon arrive and what a celebration. Continue to take care of yourself and know that you are special to God.
    With much prayers and love
